ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – For the second time in the life of the new administration, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was absent as President Muhammadu Buhari received briefings from service chiefs on Wednesday. The Wednesday briefing, like the first meeting held between President Buhari and National Security Adviser, Col. The meeting, which held at the Defence House, Abuja, took place behind closed doors to marshal the country’s plans that would be presented at a meeting of the Lake Chad Basin Commission.
Those in attendance were National Security Adviser, Dasuki; Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh and Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Ismail Aliyu, also attended the meeting.
