Ahead 2nd Stanza of NPFL, Rangers’ management shops for strikers

Enugu – Rangers’ management says it has directed its technical crew to start shopping for top strikers’ to enhance the goal-scoring ability of the club.

Foster Chime, the club’s Media Director, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu Sunday that the management was desirous of engaging top strikers could improve the club’s goal-scoring ability.

The club has currently been topping on the log of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season — 2015/2016.

“The management appeals for continued support of the fans as well for their patience and understanding in the remaining matches in the league.

“The technical crew has been mandated to beef the squad additional quality player — the tested and experienced players — through the current mid-season transfer window.

“The technical crew has also been directed to submit detailed technical report on the first round of the league.

“The report should include the performance index of every player to ascertain those that have met the standard and those yet to meet the standards. This will to determine improvements,’’ he said.

The media director, however, said the management was satisfied at the ’s performance in the first stanza. We have maintained our resilience and determination to secure the maximum three points and goals in every match we played.

“The club will do everything within its powers to maintain the enviable on the table, until the last match in the second stanza,’’ Chime added. (NAN)
