Frankfurt (Germany), – The company that operates Germany’s main hub on Monday reported that the number of passengers at Frankfurt Airport rose during the month of September, but at a lower rate than in previous months.
According to the company, some 6.7 million passengers passed through the airport in September, up 1.3 per cent compared with same month in 2018.
Cumulative growth over the first nine months came in at 2.3 per cent, representing 54 million passengers.
Meanwhile, long-haul routes saw growth of 3.4 per cent, while travelling to European destinations rose by just 1.7 per cent.
