Bharti Airtel has unveiled an Airtel Money Premier VISA card that will enhance premier customers’ experience and convenience on the company’s mobile money and banking services and ensure that they get added value.
With this new card, Airtel money premier customers will be able to shop and pay for goods and services using Airtel Money at Visa accepted merchants wherever they live or travel to and withdraw money from their Airtel money accounts from Visa Automated Teller Machines.
Exclusively available for Airtel’s Premier pre-paid and post-paid customers, the card can be used in supermarkets, petrol stations and restaurants locally and internationally.
While Nigerians await the introduction of this product in the country, they have continued to identify with Glo Xchange, the mobile money product from another telecommunications company, Globacom. The unveiling of the card will also increase accessibility of Airtel money to premier customers wherever they live or travel to.
