Ajibola, who made the call on Sunday in his Easter message to Christians in the state, said Jesus came into the world to propagate the message of peace.
“As we wine and dine to celebrate Easter, we must not forget the spiritual purpose of the festival.
“Let us walk on the foot print of Jesus Christ and embrace peace, love and be patriotic enough to pay a price for the freedom of the people of Kwara,” he said.
Ajibola noted that there was no moment in the evolution of the state that peace and love were needed, than this period of election.
“Let us sustain the atmosphere of peace as we troop out to vote the next governor that will usher in a new era of freedom in Kwara,” he said. (NAN)
