At his ward 5 Ijebu Owo unit, he polled 413 votes to defeat Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Eyitayo Jegede, who garnered 12.
Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate Hon Agboola Ajayi, scored zero vote.
