Akwuole emerges 1st global president of Oke Ovoro Secondary School Old Students Association

UVURU, Mbaise (Sundiata Post) – Dr Kenneth Akwuole, a United States-based technocrat has emerged the First Global President, Oke Ovoro Secondary School Students Association.
In a statement made available to Sundiata Post at the weekend, the President-General, Uvuru Communities Development Union, Chimaroke Ben Nnaji, stated that the executive Committee led by Dr Kenneth Akwuole comprises very successful and accomplished old students like Peterclaver Nwaiwu, an engineer; Dr Kenneth Ahiwe, Mrs Mercy Madu and others who he said have what it takes to return the school to its past glory through special interventions.
In the same vein, an executive director, Fidelity Bank Plc, Sir Stanley Amuchie, sits as the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the association with the Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Guinea, Ambassador Innocent Iwejuo as vice chairman.

In addition, Hon. Goddy Dikeocha, a former speaker of the Imo State house of Assembly and a former gubernatorial candidate, Success Akagburuonye; Chief Okey Ulokwe, a real estate guru were honoured as chief advisers/ patrons of the association.

Nnaji called on every old student of Oke Ovoro Secondary School to identify with and support every programme of the association.
He said time has come for those whose stories cannot be complete without a mention of the school to give back and take the school to greater glory.
