Governor Tanko Al-makura of Nasarawa State has hit the ground running for his second term with the commissioning of medical services and road projects in Lafia.
Mr Al-makura, who has other projects nearing completion for inauguration, also commissioned the Nasarawa Geographic Information Service headquarters in Lafia as parts of activities marking his swearing in for another term of office.
The Governor promised to speed up work in the transformation of the state as he highlights the gains made from the Nasarawa land reform and urban renewal programme while commissioning the projects.
The APC led government in Nasarawa State had promised to anchor its socio-economic policy on human capital development for a better and prosperous state.

Governor Tanko Al-makura disclosed this while addressing thousands of citizens who gathered to witness his swearing in ceremony at the Lafia Square.
The Governor and his deputy, Mr Silas Agara, promised to improve the living standard of the people, shortly after taking the oath of office.
Residents of the state have urged the Governor to sustain the good work he has started by industrializing the state for job and wealth creation.
