Abuja – The National Industrial Court, Abuja, has fixed June 13 for hearing of the suit instituted by one Rose Anani, against Ronsberger Nigeria Ltd., seeking payment of salary and benefits arrears of eight years.
Anani, a former employee of Ronsberger, is asking the court to order the company to pay her arrears of salaries and other benefits for the eight years she had worked with the company.
According to the claimant, her appointment was unlawfully terminated by the respondent in April 1, 2016.
When the case came up on Wednesday, counsel to the respondent, Mr Emma Ilo, told the court that he filed an application seeking to file the company’s statement of defence.
Since the motion was not opposed, the Judge, Justice Edith Agbakoba, granted the application and adjourned the case until June 13 for further hearing.
However, the claimant’s Counsel, Mr Magnus Onwukwe was not in court.
