Alleged N109bn Fraud: Court Remands Ex-AGF Idris, others in Kuje Prison

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Justice A. O. Adeyemi Ajayi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Maitama Abuja, on Friday remanded the

suspended Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris and his co-defendants: Godfrey Olusegun Akindele, Mohammed Kudu Usman in Kuje Correctional Centre pending the determination of their bail applications.

The trio were arraigned alongside a company, Gezawa Commodity Market and Exchange Limited, on a 14-count charge bordering on

gratification, abuse of office and money laundering to the tune of over N109 billion fraud.
