Abuja (Sundiata Post) – There was wailing on Sunday as the remains of ABK Offiah, an aide to Anambra Commissioner for Youths Development, Patrick Aghamba, was brought back to Onitsha.
Offiah was killed while travelling with Aghamba and his wife to Abuja.
While the commissioner and his wife were kidnapped, Offiah was shot dead during the attack by gunmen.
Offiah, a lawyer from Onitsha, holds the traditional title of Kpajiego. He was also said to be a youth leader.
A video on social media showed the moment an ambulance arrived Onitsha with Offiah’s corpse amid wailing by residents.
Meanwhile, Aghamba and his wife were Saturday night released by the kidnappers.
It was not clear whether ransom was paid before their release.
