AWKA – Prof Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in the Anambra governorship election, seems set for victory as he has floored his major challengers in their Aguata local government area.
Soludo, Andy Uba of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are all from Aguata local government area.
Results from the council showed that the APGA candidate scored 9,136 votes while Mr Uba polled 4,773 votes with Mr Ozigbo coming third with 3,798 votes.
The results from over seven local governments showed that the former central bank governor, is leading in the results seen so far.
