ABUJA – Immediate past Governor of Nasarawa State, Alhaji Tanko Al-Makura has reportedly withdrawn from the chairmanship contest of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Al-Makura, who is currently a senator in the National Aasembly announced his withdrawal hours before the scheduled convention.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari is believed to be supporting another former governir of the state, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu fir today’s convention.
