Bauchi – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Bauchi Command, said it has deployed over 1,000 personnel across the 20 Local Government Areas of the state for the smooth conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr Garkuwa Yahuza, disclosed this in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN) in Bauchi on Sunday.
“We have deployed over 1,000 personnel across all the 20 LGA for the primary elections and from the reports so far, there has not been any case of violence .
“What I am saying in essence, is that there has not been any report of breach of the peace so far,” he said.
Yahuza called on members of the public to remain calm and conduct their affairs peacefully.
