The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the passing of Mr. Isaiah Edegbo, a senior staff member at its National Secretariat.
According to a statement from the party’s national publicity secretary, Felix Morka, Edegbo passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Abuja.
Edegbo, 48, was from Dekina LGA in Kogi State and served as a Deputy Director in the Secretariat’s Organization Department. His education included CMML Primary School, Anyigba (1981-1986), Kizito Seminary, Idah (1986-1992), and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned a Diploma in Civil Law (1997), LL.B (2003), LL.M in Public Law (2016), and was pursuing a PhD in Commercial Law.
Despite his legal background, Edegbo was recognized as a dedicated and reliable staff member, contributing to many of the party’s congresses, conventions, and election activities. “He will be sorely missed,” Morka expressed in the statement.
