Paikoro ( Niger) – The All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Paikoro Local Government area of Niger has set up a reconciliation committee to reach out to all aggrieved members of the party .
Alhaji Abdullahi Kwana,Chairman of the party, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria ((NAN) on Tuesday in Paikoro, headquarters of the council.
He said that the committee members had since embarked on proper reconciliation among aggrieved members in the 11 wards of the council.
” We have succeeded in reaching out to our teeming supporters to forget about any misunderstanding during our party Congresses, ” he said.
He also called on eligible residents who had earlier registered but not collected their permanent voters’ cards to do so immediately.
Kwana said that party had provided vehicles in each of the 11 wards to transport eligible residents who had not registered to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
” We will do everything humanly possible to ensure massive registration of our supporters to enable them to participate in the electoral processes, “he said.
He called on the leaders to do more in promoting political tolerance and understanding among supporters.
