ILORIN – The All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kwara, has suspended five of its members in Baruten Local Government Area of the State for anti party activities.
The Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Alhaji Sulaiman Buhari, announced the suspension in a statement issued in Ilorin on Thursday.
Sen. Mohammed Ahmed, and a state legislator, Alhaji Adamu Sabi, were suspended for one year, while Muhammed Omar Bio, Chairman of Baruten Local Government Area, was suspended for six months.
Alhaji Aliyu Kora-Sabi and Muhammed Sunu Gofe were also suspended from the party for one year each.
According to the statement, their suspension followed a report submitted by a panel of enquiry set up by the state APC into their activities.

The statement said that all the suspensions were with immediate effect.(NAN)
