KANO – The Jigawa chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on the National Security Adviser and the Inspector General of Police to investigate alleged plan to disrupt the April 11 governorship and state assembly elections in the state.

Alhaji Sani Zorro, the Director, Public Communication and Strategy Committee of the party, made the call at  a news conference in Kano on Tuesday.

He said the call was necessary in view of the plans being hatched by some people in the state to cause chaos and mayhem at some selected polling units in the state.

’I have found it compelling to alert the generality of Nigerians, especially Jigawa indigenes, the National Security Adviser (NSA) and the Inspector-General of Police (IG) on plans to sabotage the last lap of the general elections,” he said.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
