APC wins 20 out of 24 state assembly seats in Kebbi

BIRNIN KEBBI – The All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kebbi, has won 20 out of the 24 seats in the State House of Assembly, reports the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Alhaji Abdullahi Kebbe, Director of Public Affairs of INEC in the state, announced this in a statement issued in Birnin Kebbbi on Wednesday.

The statement said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won four seats.

Those who won on APC tickets included: Mohammed Buhari (Aliero), Andullahi Yaldu (Arewa), Nasiru Umma (Argungu), Bello Bayawa (Augie), Umar Bagugu (Birnin Kebbi North), Bello Yakubu (Birnin Kebbi East), Aminu Mohammed (Bunza), Abdulmumin Ismail (Dandi) and Ibrahim Bokolo (Fakai).

Others are: Faruk Nasarawa (Jega), Ahmed Kuka (Kalgo), Alhaji Adamu Sammanaji (Koko/Besse), Abdulwasiu Andarai (Maiyama), Alhaji Mohammed Sodangi (Ngaski), and Salihu Dangoje (Sakaba).

The rest are: Hamza Bello (Danko/Wasagu West), Haliru Aliyu (Danko/Wasagu East), Aliyu Ahmed (Yauri) and Sani Idris (Zuru).

The winners on the platform of PDP are: Mohammed Lolo (Bagudo West), Muhammedu Ismail (Bagudo East), Muhammed Tukur (Shanga) and Anaruwa Garba (Suru).
