Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has sacked Hon. Dachung Bagos as House of Representatives member for Jos South/Jos East.

The Court dismissed the appeal of PDP and affirmed the election of Ajang Iliya of Labour Party as Winner of the Jos South/Jos East House of Representatives.
The Court enunciated that it found out that “Nothing Can Stand on Nothing”.

It ruled that the PDP candidate appeared as an independent candidate which is alien to the Nigerian Constitution.
However, the appeal by the PDP was dismissed on the ground that it lacked merit.
The Court award N1,000,000 against INEC for not being neutral.
The amount is payable to the respondent.
