Dutse – The Jigawa chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has congratulated Mr Abubakar Malami over his appointment as the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the association in the state, Mr Adamu Turaki, and made available to newsmen on Friday in Dutse
“The Nigerian Bar Association, Jigawa branch, heartily felicitates with Abubakar Malami, SAN, over his appointment as the new Attorney General of the Federation.
“It is our firm and honest belief that President Muhammadu Buhari has made a very wise choice by choosing an honest, dedicated, humble and versatile legal practitioner as the new AGF.
” Malami is a person that we know and a very good friend of Dutse Branch of NBA,” Turaki said.
He said he was hopeful that the appointment would lay another foundation for greater achievements in the administration of justice in the country.
“We are hopeful that justice administration will receive a new boost and in the Justice sector; institutions will be effectively managed for greater output.
“Therefore, we assure you of our maximum cooperation and support.”
The NBA chapter also congratulated other lawyers in the new cabinet, particularly the new Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Solomon Dalong.

“We equally congratulate all lawyers in the new cabinet, particularly Mr Solomon Dalong, the new Youth and Sports Minister, who is also another friend of the Dutse branch of NBA.’’
Turaki prayed God to enrich the new ministers with more wisdom and guide them in the discharge of their functions. (NAN)
