Arik Airline commences Abuja-Dubai operation on July 28

LAGOS – The Arik Airline on Wednesday in Lagos said it would begin commercial flight between , and Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on July 28.

Dr Michael Arumemi-Ikhide, the airline’s Chief Executive Officer, disclosed this in a signed by Arik , Mr Adebanji Ola.

Arumemi-Ikhide said that the new route would operate five flights weekly with travelling from on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and returning from Dubai on Tuesday, , Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

He explained that the route would be operated by an Airbus A330-200 aircraft, adding that the aircraft would offer a class configuration with 30 Premier Class seats and 187 Economy Class seats.

“Outbound flights will depart from Murtala Muhammed International , Lagos at 7.05 p.m. and arrive at Nnamdi Azikiwe International , at 8.20 p.m.

“The flight will then continue on Dubai, departing Nnamdi Azikiwe International , at 9.50 p.m. finally arriving at Dubai International , Dubai (local ) at 7.20 p.m.

“The inbound flight will depart Dubai at 10.30 a.m. (local ) and arrives in Abuja at 2.30 p.m.

”The flight continues on Lagos, leaving Abuja at 4.00 p.m. and arriving in Lagos at 5.15 p.m.,” he said.
