Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on social media, Pastor Reno Omokri has written to Archbishop of Canterbury, to help seek clarification from President Muhammadu Buhari on why no one was punished for the deaths of 347 Shiite men, women and kids on his watch.
Reno wants the Archbishop to confirm this in his next visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Recall that Archbishop of Canterbury visited President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja London Home few days back.
He made the call on his tweeter handle @renoomokri on Sunday.
According to Reno, “Dear Archbishop Welby. When next you visit PMB, ask why no one was punished for the deaths of 347 Shiite men, women and kids on his watch.
Sundiata Post recalls that the Kaduna State government announced that 347 persons were killed during the December 12, Shiite/army clash in Zaria. Balarabe Lawal said the victims were given a secret mass burial.
The burial at the Mando area was jointly supervised by the state government officials and about 40 men of the Nigerian army.
– The mass burial was conducted on December 14 and 15, Namadi Musa, the director-general of Kaduna state Interfaith Agency said.
Kaduna government made the submission at a public hearing of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the clash on Monday, April 11, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Balarabe Lawal, disclosed that 347 persons were killed during the clash.
