Aspirant calls for more entrepreneurship schemes for youths

BENIN – Mr Andrew Agbonwanegbe, an aspirant for the Ikpoba Okha/ Egor Federal Constituency seat at the House of Representatives, has called for more entrepreneurship schemes for the youth in the country.
Agbonwanegbe made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Benin on Sunday.

He said he was contesting for the seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and would ensure proper legislation on youth entrepreneurship, if elected.

The aspirant said that the country needed urgent policies that would guarantee massive entrepreneurship for the youth to take them out of the street.

He said that if the youth became engaged and self-reliant, crimes would reduce in the country.

Agbonwanegbe, a member of Edo Hospital Management Board, also stressed the need for increased opportunity for the girl-child education and women empowerment. (NAN)
