Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The erstwhile governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefo Ibori, was on Tuesday cleared from all charges and granted freedom to return to Nigeria unconditionally.
According to a source at the court, Ibori was given the green light when he appeared before Justice Neil Stephen Garnham at the Royal Court of Justice, Fleet Street, London.
With the clearance, Ibori is expected back in Nigeria any moment from now.
After the court proceeding, the former governor was quoted to have said that he has already commenced preparations to return home, as according to him, “anything that has a beginning has an end”.
