Abuja (Sundiata Post) – President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan on Thursday swore in immediate past governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, as a senator.
Recall that Okorocha was not inaugurated on Tuesday because he had yet to collect his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The former governor will represent the Imo West Senatorial District at the red chamber signed the necessary documents with the Clerk of the Senate Mr Nelson Ayowoh before the swearing in ritual.
Recall that Rochas Okorocha received his certificate of Return from theIndependent National Electoral Commission on Tuesday after the inauguration of the 9th Senate by the Clerk of the National Assembly, Mr Mohammed Omolori.
