KABUL – At least 66 people, including militants, were killed in attacks on Election Day across Afghanistan on Saturday, the Deputy Minister of Interior has said.
“We confirmed that 150 attacks occurred across the country.
“As a result, 11 policemen, 15 soldiers, 20 civilians, one Election Commission worker and 19 insurgents were killed in insurgency attacks on Saturday.
“The attacks were carried out primarily with roadside bombs and rockets. Mohammad Salangi added. (dpa/NAN)
