ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Sundiata Post will on Sunday, 19 January 2025 begin an insurance column aimed at educating Nigerians on issues around insurance and underwriting.
Mrs Hannah Atomode, a business analyst and insurance underwriter will handle the column which will run every Sunday.
Atomode started her career with a degree in Banking and Finance, graduating with Upper Credit in 2007. She gained valuable experience in client services at Stanbic IBTC Pension Manager and merchant services at Dealdey Ltd, an e-commerce company.
In 2017, Hannah transitioned into the insurance industry, where her dedication and eagerness to learn have enabled her to excel. Her impressive insurance career spans roles at AXA Mansard, Cornerstone Insurance Plc and Fin Insurance Ltd.
Currently, Hannah works with Jean Edwards Consulting, a reinsurance tech company, where she has significantly enhanced her reinsurance expertise. Her passion for insurance drives her mission to revolutionise the industry’s narrative in Nigeria.
She is a seasoned insurance underwriter and business analyst with distinguished credentials. She holds the esteemed Associate designation from the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) and notably emerged as the Best Female Associate Qualifier for 2024.
Her impressive academic achievements extend to the Young Insurance Professionals Programme, where she earned a credit from the African Reinsurance Corporation in collaboration with the London School of Insurance.
Hannah is happily married and blessed with three lovely children.
