Abuja – President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, has expressed sadness over the demise of Dr Abdul Attah, a former Permanent Secretary in the defunct Northern Region’s Ministry of Health.
Saraki, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Yusuph Olaniyo, in Abuja on Tuesday, said Attah was a “super physician’’ during his life time.
He said that deceased practiced his profession with “absolute dexterity, great compassion and dedication to duty’’.
According to him, the deceased left a worthy legacy having rendered invaluable medical and administrative services as a personal physician to the late Sardauna of Sokoto, among others.
Saraki said that Attah used his wealth of experience and knowledge to ensure quality healthcare services for all Nigerians, particularly in the North.

He commiserated with the immediate family, the government and people of Kogi on the “demise of an outstanding medical doctor’’. (NAN)
