SOKOTO – Alhaji Abdullahi Bafarawa, House of Representatives aspirant for Isa/Sabon Birni Federal Constituency under the All progressive Congress ( APC), has expressed optimism to emerge the party’s candidate in 2015 elections.
Bafarawa told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sokoto that the people were in dire need of political change that would move the area to greater heights.
He said that since the inception of democratic government, the area had not been given the opportunity to represent the people.
He said that the time had come for a change for the common good of the Isa/Sabon Birni people.
Bafarawa said that a master plan on how to provide basic social amenities and jobs creation had been worked out for implementation.
He said that women and youths would be trained on various trades under a skill acquisition scheme which he would introduce.
Bafarawa said that the girl child education would receive priority attention through a scholarship scheme.
He called on the electorate not to sell their votes, but to use them wisely by casting them for the candidates that would bring the desired political change. (NAN)
