Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Agents of the Accord Party and the All Progressives Congress on Monday clashed during the collation of votes of the Bayelsa State governorship election.
The two agents had an altercation, which resulted in a physical fight at the collation centre in Yenagoa, the state capital on Monday.
Efforts by the state Returning Officer, Prof Faruq Kuta, to quell the fight proved abortive as the duo created a scene at the centre.
However, after a few minutes, police operatives wadded into the matter and restored law and order to enable the continuation of the collation exercise. https://sundiatapost.com/bayelsa-guber-sylva-wins-another-lga-as-collation-resumes-in-bayelsa/
