YENAGOA (Sundiata Post) – The Minister of State for Agriculture and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) suffered a political defeat on Tuesday as he lost his home based support to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

To further demonstrate their support, different gift items including cows, fish, foodstuffs, Bibles and swords were given to the campaign team comprising, the governor’s wife, Dr. (Mrs) Rachel Dickson, Senator Foster Ogola, the Director General of the RCO, Hon. Fred Agbedi and host of others.

Boyelayefa Debekeme and all serving political appointees said they would do everything within the confine of law to ensure that PDP does not only win convincingly win Ekeremor local government.
According to them, the negligible number of supporters of the APC in the area does not have what it takes to convince any well meaning Ekeremor person to vote for their candidate who for five years as governor of the state only paid lip service to the all important Sagbama-Ekeremor road.
