LAGOS – Samson Adamu, the Managing Director of Kinetic Sports, organisers of the 2014 Copa Lagos Beach Tournament, on Monday gave the assurance that the championship would improve in 2015.
Adamu told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that Kinetic Sports would take advantage of the current level of awareness of Beach Soccer to enhance the profile of the tournament.
He said that the organisation would strive to surpass the achievements of previous editions by increasing the number of the participating countries to make it more competitive.
“We intend to work on the publicity because awareness is essential.
“That is what we have learnt over the years; I believe that when we get this part together, we will begin to achieve more.
“It is obvious that when we work on this, we will attract more sponsors, which is our objective; we are getting there.
“With more sponsors, we will be able to invite more countries to participate in COPA Lagos; this is our major objective,’’ Adamu added. (NAN)
