Islam Slimani scored midway through the first half as Sporting Lisbon held Benfica a 1-1 draw, while FC Porto produced a late attacking flurry to rout Moreirense 3-0 in the Portuguese league on Sunday.
Porto pulled level Guimaraes at the top the table with three wins in as many rounds.

Nicolas Gaitan put Benfica ahead in the 12th minute after finishing off a team buildup, but striker Slimani leveled for Sporting a header in the 20th.
Oliver Torres broke through for Porto in the 70th minute off a pass by Yacine Brahimi before striker Jackson Martinez added goals in the 82nd and 87th.
