LAGOS (Sundiata Post) – Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of body positivity advocate and media personality, Monalisa Stephen.
Monalisa’s passing was confirmed on Wednesday, May 14, through an Instagram post by Seun Oloketuyi, the Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON). According to Oloketuyi, she died in Lagos on Tuesday, May 13, after complications from low blood sugar and internal bleeding. The heartbreaking news was verified by Monalisa’s immediate younger sister.
Reacting to the announcement, Bimpe Akintunde took to social media to mourn the late influencer, questioning why Monalisa never reached out during her struggles. In a touching tribute, she shared her grief and extended condolences to the family.
“Monaaaaaa, you go at least call or message me when you were going through all of that naaaaaa, haaaaaahaaaaaaaa Eleyi ba mi lojiji,” she wrote.
“Sebi me n you dey talk naaaa? I pray your sweet soul find eternal Rest Aburo mi daada.
