Yola – Gov. Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa on Wednesday advised members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state to avoid division among themselves to ensure victory in the 2019 general election.
Bindow gave the advice while receiving APC stakeholders from Shelleng Local Government Area (LGA) of the state who paid him solidarity visit in Yola.
He said intraparty squabbles were unnecessary and cautioned party members against disunity which might affect the party chances in future elections.
The governor told the people of Shelleng that it was their right to enjoy dividends of democracy adding that his administration would provide needed infrastructure in communities in the LGA.
Earlier, Alhaji Isa Abubakar, a legislature representing Shelleng in the state House of Assembly, said the visit was to congratulate the governor on the peaceful conduct of the APC congress in the state.
