Lagos – Azeez Ladipo, the Captain of the Black Stallions on Saturday appealed to the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) to facilitate the team’s early commencement of preparation ahead of the Africa Cup 1c competition.
The Rugby Africa Cup 1c is scheduled to hold from June 5 to June 11 in Casablanca, Morocco.
The Stallions has been grouped alongside teams from Mauritius, Cameroon and Morocco.
Ladipo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that it was disheartening that the team had not moved higher in ranking.

“It is not as if the team is not good enough, but we need to do more by ensuring that we move up to Cup 1b.
“Looking at next year, we have cup 1c in Morocco and we must start planning for it as early as possible.
“The federation has really tried for us, they should allow early planning for the tournament as soon as possible,” he said. (NAN)
