A series of bomb explosions has struck near a market in the northern Nigerian city of Kano, reports say.
At least one blast was at the city’s Kantin Kwari textile market, AFP news agency and social media reports said.
There were no immediate details on casualties. Some 2,000 people have been killed in attacks by Nigeria’s Boko Haram militants so far this year.
Last month dozens of people died in a gun and bomb attack during prayers at one of the biggest mosques in Kano. (BBC News)
