According to him, the Democracy Day celebration will be rounded off with a Church service on Sunday.
The commissioner said a novelty match would also be held on Saturday between members of the outgoing state executive council and the state legislatures at the Elkanemi Sports Centre, Maiduguri.
“Our plan is to organise a low key democracy day celebration in line with our present predicament.
“But the event will still contain all necessary ingredients witnessed in similar celebrations.’’
He said the inauguration of Gov. Kashim Shettima for a second term in office would hold at the Ramat Square, Maiduguri, on Friday at noon. (NAN)
