ABUJA za The Director-General of Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), Mr Benjamin Dikki, has urged the Christian and Muslim communities in the bureau not to relent in their prayers for the nation and the bureau.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the BPE’s Head of Public Communications, Mr Chigbo Anichebe in Abuja on Friday.
In it, Dikki said Nigeria needed spiritual intervention in the challenge and prayed that God would continue to preserve the BPE family. [eap_ad_1] The statement urged Muslims to use the remaining Ramadan period to pray for the nation to overcome the present security challenge.
“I want to remind you that Nigeria is going through trying times which require the prayers of all religious denominations.
“Anybody could be a victim, given the random nature of the attacks and it requires the collective prayers of all faiths’’, it said.
It commended the Chairman of the National Council on Privatisation (NCP), Vice President Namadi Sambo for his unflinching support to the BPE which has resulted in the achievements so far recorded. (NAN)[eap_ad_4]
