Prince Abubakar Audu, the Kogi State Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State is dead, according to The Will.
APC sources in Kogi State indicated that he died shortly after INEC declared Saturday’s election inconclusive.
The Will said one of Audu’s sons confirmed the death, saying Audu died of a sudden ailment.
Prince Audu, who was a former governor of Kogi State (1999 – 2003) would be buried on Monday in Kogi according to Islamic rites, family sources said.
