Abuja (Sundaiata Post) – President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned the four service chiefs for a meeting in his official residence in state house.
This is coming barely after 24 hours after the president resumed official duties after his return from London on medical vacation.
According to News Express, in attendance at the on-going meeting are Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar; Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin and Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibot-Ete Ibas.
At the time of filing this report, the purpose of the meeting is sketchy but Sundiata Post recalls that President Buhari in a nation-wide broadcast yesterday tasked the security forces not to allow the successes made in the area of security in the last 18 months be a sign to relax.
