Abuja (Sundiata Post) — It is not yet Uhuru for the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), David Babachir Lawal, as he has been resummoned to appear before the Senate in respect of the allegations of corruption levelled against him over the contract award of N220 million for grass-cutting in the Northeast to his company, Rholavision.
It would be recalled that the embattled Lawal had appeared before the Presidential investigation committee headed by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday.
According to a statement issued, on Wednesday, by the Chairman of the Senate Adhoc Committee on Mounting Humanitarian Crisis in the Northeast, Shehu Sani, Lawal is to appear for the rescheduled investigative hearing at 10 a.m. prompt.
