In a significant move, the Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended all payments for chairmanship and councillorship nomination forms.
The party stated that oonl those aspirants who emerge as party candidates will be permitted to make payments.
A statement obtained by WESTERN POST noted that the decision aligns with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s HeForShe and Empathy Intervention initiatives, aimed at fostering inclusivity and support within the party.
AbdulRazaq has ensured that nomination forms for local government election candidates are free for female aspirants and persons living with disabilities.
