….Calls for removal of Abure as Chairman of LP

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The political Commission of Nigerian Labour Party, (NLC) on Wednesday besieged the Utako head office of Labour Party, calling on the Labour Party(LP) chairman, Julius Abure to step aside and allow the party to conduct convention and elect a chairman.
One of the members of the Political Commission Prof. Theophilus Ndubuaku while addressing journalists, stressed that Julius Abure ascended to the position of chairman of LP through civilian coup.
The group accused Abure of corruption and demands for all inclusive convention where all stakeholders will be free to participate. He further stated that all efforts to get Abure to do right thing had proved abortive, adding that Abure shoould now handover the party to the rightful owners of the party, Labour Party.
