Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has directed the termination of the appointment of the Director General of State Services (DSS), Mr. Lawal Musa Daura.
This was according to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Laolu Akande.
The special Assistant who disclosed this on his twitter handle said:

AgP Yemi Osinbajo has directed the termination of the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Musa Daura.
According to him, “Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has directed the termination of the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Musa Daura.”
Daura is to hand over to the most senior officer at the State Security Service, SSS.
As the time of filing this report, it was not confirmed if the disengagement is connected with the activities of the the DSS officers at the National Assembly on Tuesday.
Recall that the masked officers of the men of the Directorate of Security Services who were armed to the teeth (DSS) on Tuesday laid siege at the entrance of the National Assembly refusing senators, national assembly correspondents and the staff of the National Assembly from gaining access to the premises.
The DSS officers informed that they were acting according to instructions from above.
Recall that their is remour making rounds that the All Progressives Congress senators who are not comfortable with the leadership of the red chamber are scheming to effect change in leadership through illegal means.
Sundiata Post recalls that this is happening on a day the senate president, Bukola Saraki summoned a meeting of the leadership of the national assembly.
