Breaking: Oyo, former MD of NAN, dies

Mrs Oluremi Oyo, former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), has died; her husband, Mr. Vincent Oyo, has confirmed.
According to Mr Oyo, Mrs Oyo, who died at age 62, died yesterday.
Before her appointment as managing director of NAN, the late Mrs Oyo was Senior Special Assistant (Media) to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.[eap_ad_2]
Before then, she was president of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.
Shortly before her tenure in NAN ended in July last year Mrs. Oyo took ill and was flown out of the country. Since then she had been in and out of the country battling cancer. [eap_ad_3]
