Buhari appoints Magu Acting Chairman of EFCC, Lamorde goes on terminal leave

Abuja –  President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mr Ibrahim Mustafa Magu as the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This information is contained in a statement issued by Mr Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity in Abuja on Monday.

According to the statement, Magu, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, is to take over from Ibrahim Lamorde, who is proceeding on terminal leave ahead of the end of his tenure in February 2016. (NAN)
