Buhari demonstrates courage in leadership — Argentine’s Ambassador

Abuja – The Ambassador of Argentina to Nigeria, Gustavo Dzugala, has commended the present administration for showing uncommon courage so far in the first year of his administration.

Dzugala, who gave the commendation on the occasion of the 2016 Argentine’s National Day, said Buhari’s administration had been confronted with various challenges.
“As we celebrate one year of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, it has been full of challenges.
“But Buhari has demonstrated courage and commitment in spite of these challenges,”he said.

The Argentine’s envoy commended the efforts of the president to diversify the economy, saying that his country was willing to partner with Nigeria in that regard.
“Argentina is working to boost relations with Africa and particularly with Nigeria.

“With Buhari’s decision to diversify Nigeria’s economy to agriculture in particular, we are ready to partner with Nigeria in this.

“Am really happy that Dr Ogbonaya Onu is here because we’ve been discussing different ways of cooperation in science and technology,”he said.
Speaking at the event, the Minister of Science and Technology, Onu, lauded the cordial relationship between Nigeria and Argentina.
“Nigeria and Argentina have had very warm relationship and we want it to grow stronger.

“Argentina has a good ambassador, whom for the time he has stayed in Nigeria, have worked very hard to deepen the existing relationship with Nigeria.
“We are happy to have ambassadors who are prepared at all times to promote good relations with their host countries,”he said.

According to him, Nigeria and Argentina have a lot to learn from each other and pledged to ensure that the discussions between the two countries come to fruition.
“Nigeria has a lot to learn from Argentina, and the country too has a lot to learn from Nigeria.
“Thank you for your good suggestions especially in the area of agriculture but you can’t do much in agriculture without technology,”Onu said. (NAN)
