Buhari: Emir Of Ilorin To Hold Special Prayer Session Friday

Abuja (Sundiata Post) — The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs and Obas, Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, will, on Friday, March 17, organise a special prayer session in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Emir announced this through a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Communications, Government House, Magaji Nda, Salihu Mohammed Woru, in Ilorin, on Tuesday, and made available to journalists.

Magaji Nda disclosed that the occasion is to offer prayers to Allah to continue to guide, protect and grant Buhari sound health to pilot the affairs of the country.

According to him, the prayer session, which will be presided over by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Muhammadu Bashir Solihu, will hold at the Ilorin Central Juma’at mosque by 9 a.m.

Magaji Nda said that government functionaries, Islamic clerics and people of Kwara State and beyond are enjoined to attend the prayer session.
